1. What can i eat on the diet?
THE MODEL TRAINER METHOD nutritional plan is outlined to tell you exactly what, when and how much to eat. You will enjoy five evenly spaced, satisfying meals throughout the day plus a scoop of our recommended protein powder after your workout.
2. Will there be recipes?
THE MODEL TRAINER METHOD includes a cookbook filled with recipes that fit our nutritional plan. There are plenty of options and ideas for cooking with turkey, chicken, beef, fish, shellfish, egg whites and different kinds of vegetables. There are also recipes to satisfy your sweet tooth.
3. hoW lonG do i have to folloW the diet?
We have designed our nutritional plan as part of a whole new lifestyle that you are meant to adopt permanently and not as a crash diet.
4.What if i am a veGetaRian oR veGan?
At this time we do not have available a plan for vegetarians and vegans. In future we may be releasing a plan.
5. i’m Gluten intoleRant. can i still do the diet?
Our nutritional plan gives you the freedom to choose from a list of approved foods. If you are gluten intolerant you will sim – ply chose gluten free options and steer clear of the foods you can not eat.
6. i’m lactose intoleRant. can i still do the diet?
Our nutritional plan has dairy free options for those who have a lactose intolerance.
7. What equipment do i need to do the WoRkouts?
You will need a utility bench, dumbbells and a step with risers (or a box). For your convenience, we’ve created a page listing our recommendations for purchasing at-home gym gear, plus protein powder and so on.
8. hoW lonG aRe the WoRkouts?
Most people will be able to complete the workouts in under an hour including time for warming up and stretching. Because people of varying fitness levels will be following the program, we can’t tell you exactly how long each workout will take you.
9. i’ve neveR WoRked out befoRe. What if i don’t knoW hoW to do the exeRcises?
There are detailed exercise descriptions as well as pictures making the exercises easy to learn and perform with proper form.
10. i have a past injuRy oR health condition and am WoRRied about staRtinG a WoRkout pRoGRam. Will this make my injuRy WoRse oR make me sick?

Who we are
Tatiana Boncompagni is an editor and writer based in Manhattan. Before co founding Tone and Style, she was the food editor at Self magazine. Her writing has appeared in dozens of publications, including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Marie Claire, Vogue, InStyle and Town & Country and she has appeared on television networks such as CBS, Bloomberg, and the BBC. She is also the author of three novels published by HarperCollins and Amazon Publishing. Tatiana believes that all women deserve to feel happy, strong and beautiful, and that women’s fitness is — at its very core — about female empowerment. She graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University, is the mother of three children, and loves to run, practice yoga and cook for her family and friends.
Heather Marr is a personal trainer from Canada that specializes in training models. She got her start in the industry as a model with Elite and learned very quickly what not to do. She became a trainer to help the girls in the industry get fit, lose weight and keep it off the healthy way. Before moving to Manhattan two years ago Heather ran her own training business in Toronto. She has clients that reside in all over the world, including the U.S., Europe, Australia, Canada and Asia. Heather designs all of her clients’ diets and program plans and believes that together nutrition and training shape the body. She believes in practicing what she preaches by living the fitness lifestyle. Besides weightlifting, she enjoys life’s simple pleasures— spending time with her dog Hendrix in Central Park, goofing around and laughing with friends.
Janine Whiteson, Nutritionist, MS, is a dietitian and health expert in private practice in New York City. She couples her 25 years of experience in the U.S. and abroad with her straightforward, practical advice to create comprehensive nutritional programs for individuals and corporate clients. Janine is a regular contributor to the Cooking Light cookbook series and is the author of Get a Real Food Life, published by Rodale. Janine and her nutritional expertise have been featured on national broadcasts such as ABC, FOX News and The Food Network. She has been quoted numerous times in publications including The New York Times, Allure, and Self. Janine received her Masters of Science in Nutrition at King College University of London, England. As a mother of two, her passion centers on helping today’s busy families live a more healthful, yet delicious, everyday life.
