The Model Trainer Method featured on EXTRA

Heather and I went on EXTRA, the internationally syndicated news show, to talk about why we teamed up to create THE MODEL TRAINER METHOD. I cooked a day’s worth of food to give viewers an idea of what they might expect to eat on the plan, and Heather picked a few moves from THE PROGRAM for us to demonstrate. A special thanks for New York Sports Clubs, which graciously provided us with studio space for the shoot.


It’s always fun filming and especially fun when Heather and I get to film together. Since we are so busy (she with her clients and me with running the site and my kids) we actually don’t get to see each other that often. We text and email every day and talk on the phone a few times a week (about more than just work–we’re good friends!), but our schedules don’t allow us to meet IRL (in real life) as often as we’d like.

Here’s to getting 2017 off to a great start. Heather and I hope to create another book for all of you asking for more workouts and more recipes (we hear you!!!) and carve out more time just to kick back and relax together. What are your goals for this year?

The One Move That Sculpts Crazy Sexy Shoulders

Not only do sculpted shoulders look great in off-the-shoulder and halter tops, they also help balance out your proportions and make your waist look slimmer. There are lots of moves you can do to enhance your shoulders, but one of my favorites is the Arnold Dumbbell Press. Named after Arnold Schwarzenegger, its also known as the Rotating Shoulder Press, and can be performed seated or standing.
