What the stars drink on Oscar night

A classic vodka cocktail that's as easy as it is delicious

By The Editors

This Sunday we’ll be glued to TV and tuned into the biggest night in Hollywood. I like to call Oscar night the Super Bowl of fashion and beauty and everything glamorous and inspiring about the movie industry. Watching the stars walk the red carpet—the sartorial hits and misses—is, to me at least, as entertaining as watching Tom Brady throw one of his perfect passes or Lady Gaga kill it on stage in front of millions of viewers.

But like any good sporting event, an Oscar viewing party (even if it’s just a party of one!) is all the more fun with a beverage in hand. This cocktail, which will be served at this year’s Weinstein Company Oscars After Party (and has been for the last several years), features elderflower liqueur, Grey Goose vodka, lime juice and seltzer water. It’s sophisticated, easy to make, refreshing and relatively low-sugar. Cheers to that!

Grey Goose Le Fizz Cocktail

35ml Grey Goose Vodka
25ml St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur
20ml Freshly squeezed lime juice
75ml Chilled soda water

In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, liqueur and juice. Add ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled glass and top with soda water. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Make the most of this relationship.
